Jason. Pure and simple. Thats the reason I had such a good experience and the reason I am taking time to write this testimonial. He makes you relaxed because he takes his time teaching you and always has a smile. You get the feeling that you are hanging out with a buddy even though you most likely just met. Take note though when it comes to his trade he is VERY professional and you know right away he is experienced at what he does. I would almost swear this guy spends more time in the water than on land!! I cannot stress that his relaxed demeanor and obvious experience and professionalism is just the combination to look for when you want a fun safe dive. Especially true for first time divers.

We found Jason after reading some great reviews on him on various SCUBA message boards. He did not disappoint. We had a fabulous day diving with him in the reefs off Playa del Carmen, then he gave us an excellent recommendation for tacos afterwards! Jason was easy to schedule with despite the questionable weather forecasts and a few last minute changes we had. We also loved that we were our own small group. Our only regret was that we could not get out to dive more. We will definitely be calling him for some diving the next time we are in the area.

We spent an awesome week in Playa del Carmen from June 23 through June 30 and dove with Jason and Fantasea Dive.  As this was our first time in Playa, we didn't know which of the various dive operators to choose.  Well, we couldn't have made a better choice.  Jason was fabulous - very thorough with our equipment checks,  extremely knowledgeable about the reefs, and he provided us with very personal attention - he even made a video of us diving!!  He worked hard all week to make sure that we got as many dives in as possible, and he even organized a night dive.  The dive sites that he chose were spectacular.  It was some of the best diving that we have ever done - as good, if not better than Cozumel.  We normally don't return to the same place twice, but in this case we will make an exception and will definitely be returning to Playa so that we can dive again with Jason and Fantasea.  We highly recommend him!!  Keep up the good work Jason!!
